A blank slate – the process starts here with extensive research and design exploration. Size, style, proportions, materials – all things considered.
Materials
Whenever possible, we source and select the materials, whether wood, metal or specialty items, from Minnesota resources. We prefer working with trusted collaborators and suppliers. If your piece calls for something beyond our borders, no worries, we have a passport.
Construction
This is where we get our hands dirty and throw sawdust around. Attention to quality and detail allows the products to last a lifetime while looking good through the process.
Finish
We take our cue from Mother Nature by using earth-friendly finishes. These choices are beautiful, healthier for the planet, and solid defenders against the assault of daily life.
Special Effects
We like the challenge and art of special effects, such as inset handles, secret drawers, hidden phone chargers, and other bits of woodworking magic.
